Hi! We are Sarah and Karen! Sisters who have been obsessed with all things vintage since childhood. That love widened after discovering a treasure trove of gowns and jewelry from the '50s and '60s in our grandmother's closet one summer. Our grandmother, Lorene, was the epitome of style and grace. Wearing her dresses made us feel elegant, special and confident. We were also fascinated with the stories behind her clothing and accessories. Where were they from? Were they handmade? What spectacular event did she attend wearing this one-of-kind piece?!
Our grandmother also had a love of cardinals . After she passed away our dad gave each of us our own ceramic cardinal to remind us of her. Legend says that when you see a cardinal, it is a loved one returning to say hello.
We hope to pass on our love of vintage as well as our grandmother's memory with every Redbird Box. The unknown stories and history surrounding our items is what excites us the most and we can't wait for you to create new stories of your very own!

WHAT IS REDBIRD VINTAGE BOX?
Redbird Vintage Box is a monthly subscription service created by vintage-loving sisters, Sarah and Karen, that delivers authentic vintage clothing and accessories straight to your doorstep! Every Redbird Vintage Box is personally styled just for you making each box completely unique. This is not a "deal" subscription box like so many others. Being unique vintage items, we can't really say how much each item is worth. Some would resell for $100 while others would resell for $2. We're all about the surprise, experience and getting fabulously unique items to people who maybe don't have the time or desire to scour vintage shops. We don't test materials or hold back items that have a high retail value so you may occasionally get precious stones, metals or designers in your box. All in all, we want you to have fun surprise and experience!
WHAT ARE ADD-ON ITEMS?
Add-On items are available for current subscribers and those who order the one-time purchase Lorene box. They are an amazing deal due to being slightly damaged, older back stock or not authentic vintage. These items ship for free in your current month's box. Anyone who is not a subscriber will have a $10 shipping/handling fee.
DO YOU ACCEPT DONATIONS AND/OR BUY FROM INDIVIDUAL?

We are also always looking to purchase items in bulk. If you're wanting to sell you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include photographs of all items you're wanting to sell and the price you want. The price should include shipping to the 34787 zip. We get a lot of emails so to save time we prefer to not haggle back and forth - please let us know what your let it go price is for all items photographed and we'll see if we can make the deal! Keep in mind that we don't sell individual items for a high profit so even though a typical vintage shop could buy a designer brooch for $30 and then resell it for $100, we can't, and our purchasing price point per item reflects this.
HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE?
A limited number of new subscription slots are available on the 1st of every month. If we could give everyone a box we would! However, at this time we do have a cutoff so we can provide phenomenal boxes and customer service to all subscribers.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Right now we have subscription for the Marie Accessory Box and the Scarf Pack. You can also order a one-time purchase Lorene box (which includes clothing), a Men's Accessory Box or a Juliette's Tot Treasures Pack (great for young kids). For the Lorene, Marie and Scarf boxes you will be prompted to fill out a short style survey so we can get to know your vintage preferences. Once you have subscribed please add email@example.com to your address book as we will reach out to you within 48 hours to ask any follow-up questions we may have. You can then wait excitedly for your vintage surprises!
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN EACH BOX?
Depending on which Redbird Vintage Box you ordered, it will contain between 3-8 authentic vintage items that can include clothing, scarves, jewelry, handbags, and various other accessories/memorabilia. Please read the description of the box you're purchasing and contact us with any questions. You are free (and encouraged) to request items from our Instagram feed (@redbirdvintagebox) or YouTube channel (Redbird Vintage Box) to be included in your box and we will always try our best to accommodate. Instagram and the shop encompass only a small portion of our current inventory and we're purchasing new items daily, so please let us know if you're looking for anything specific.
WHERE DO YOU GET ALL YOUR AMAZING VINTAGE ITEMS?
Our items come primarily from estate sales, second hand shops, flea markets and lot auctions. We are constantly looking for classic items and shop specifically for you until your box ships. We search for items from the 40's-80's. We realize that the 90's are now considered a vintage decade but we aren't quite ready to admit that the decade we grew up in is now "vintage". If you have a hankering for 90's fashion, please include that request in your style profile.
DO YOU HAVE MY SIZE?
We currently service all sizes, although inventory is limited as everything in our closet is authentic vintage (no reproductions) and we only have one of each item. However, we are constantly shopping and looking for something for everyone. Please keep in mind that most clothing from the 50's and before will typically be for a modern XS/S. We say, the more open you are to decades and styles the more fun you will have with this subscription! If we ever run into any styling issues we will reach to let you know and discuss other options.
ARE MY VINTAGE ITEMS CLEAN?
Yes. Items are either laundered or steam cleaned when we get them. They are checked over for flaws and more often than not need some type of work to get them back to what we consider more than acceptable vintage condition. All items we sell, however, ARE authentic vintage, have been pre-worn, loved and may have a vintage scent, especially items from the 70's and before.
WHEN WILL MY BOX ARRIVE?
Marie and Scarf subscriptions ship within 7 days of your renewal date (or the day you first order). You will receive an email with tracking once your box ships. If you're ordering the box as a gift or just need it right away, please reach out to us so we can accommodate you. One-Time Purchase Lorene boxes ship within 10 days of your purchase.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
At this time we currently ship worldwide for the Marie Subscription, One-Time Purchase Box, and Pre-Made Boxes. The shipping for this box runs between $15.50- $34.50 depending on where you live. This does not include any additional customs or mailing fees that you may incur when the box reaches your post office so we do recommend researching those costs before subscribing because they can be rather pricey! If your box is returned to us due to it not being picked up at the post office then you will be refunded less the shipping rate plus a $15 restocking fee.
CAN I SEND A BOX AS A GIFT?
Absolutely! Know someone who loves vintage as much as you? We will provide the same personalization to your gift as we do for subscriptions. Choose which box you would like to send (make sure to mark it's a gift!), let us know who the box is for and their vintage style. We will reach out within 48 hours with any follow up questions. You'll win the prize for "Best Gift" with a Redbird Vintage Box!
WHEN WILL I BE BILLED?
For your first box you will be billed right away. After that you will be automatically billed monthly on the date you first subscribed. Should you choose to not continue your subscription (we will be so incredibly sad to see you go!), please cancel BEFORE your next scheduled renewal.
CAN I RETURN MY BOX?
Due to the uniqueness of our items, returns are not offered at this time. However, customer service is a top priority for us and if you are in any way unsatisfied with your box please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
AM I ABLE TO CANCEL?
